There are three main community information boards at the Carleton Place Public Library: The Community Information Board in the lobby of the library, the Teen Information Board in the Young Adult Section, and the Join & Connect Board, which moves around the circularion desk in the main area of the library.

All the community information boards are managed according to the CPPL Local Community Information Policy.

The Join & Connect Board

The Carleton Place Public Library Join & Connect Board was created to try and connect members of the community with meaningful connection in Carleton Place and Beckwith. You can view the board in person at the library anytime we are open to the public.

The Community Information Board

The Community Information Board is located in the lobby of the library, and showcases posters and flyers for local community groups, non-profits, town organizations, and more. The content on this board is managed by library staff, and rotated regularly.

If you have something you would like to put up on our community information board, please drop it off at the circulation desk at the front of the library.

The Teen Information Board

The Community Information Board is located in the lobby of the library, and showcases posters and flyers that provide information that may be specifically relevent to young adult readers. Like the community information board, it is managed by library staff, and rotated regularly.
