Canada Day closure poster

The Carleton Place Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 1st for Canada Day. While you won’t be able to access the physical library that day, you’ll still be able to use our website to place holds or look for books in our collection, or use one of our fun apps (Libby or Hoopla) for ebooks and audiobooks. Download all your items at home and then take your devices on the road–you won’t even need WiFi to access your books at the cottage!

Since a lot of people are taking an extended long weekend, here are our library hours over the next few days so that you can be sure to pop by before you head out to fun events:

Thursday, June 26 – 10:30am – 8:00pm

Friday, June 27 – 10:00am – 5:30pm (Don’t forget our Library Lemonade Stand Summer Reading Kick Off from 1:30-3:30pm)

Saturday, June 28 – 10:00am – 5:30pm

Sunday, June 29 – CLOSED

Monday, June 30 – 10:30am-8:00pm

Tuesday, July 1 – CLOSED

Have a safe and happy Canada Day!
